Fertilization and Weed Control

At R-green, we pride ourselves on our proven fertilizing and weed control programs. Fertilizer is a very necessary part of turf grass management. Grass, as with all plants, requires a certain level of nutrients, which are divided into two categories, macro and micro. In Pennsylvania, we are lucky to have soil that is already sufficiently supplied with the essential micronutrients. Macronutrients are the most important for grass, because they determine root strength, longevity, disease
resistance, and color. Our fertilization programs are designed to specifically

identify these needs. On an R-green turf fertilization program, your lawn is provided with the correct concentration of nutrients, at the time your lawn needs them. The program is tailor made to suit your soil and turf conditions, which is what stands us apart from all other fertilizer applicators. Our weed and turf management programs operate using Integrated Pest Management (IPM). IPM combines chemical treatments, cultural practices and biological controls to manage pests at a level that will not show damage to plants. An important part of this technique is to be on top of pest outbreaks before the populations get out of control. Regularly scheduled field monitoring and pest record-keeping are the cornerstones of an IPM program. R-green Turf Fertilization Systmes uses state-of-the-art equipment, applying chemicals and pesticides only when and where needed.
